WINE ENTHUSIAST RATES THE WINES OF ZINIO BODEGAS
Zinio Bodegas was born from an awareness of the need for unity to improve the position of winegrowers in a competitive market with regard to the joint production and marketing of wine. The cooperative is more than a legal form, it is a way of life. The cooperative spirit consists of the practice of certain ethical values such as mutual aid, joint responsibility, equality and solidarity. Formed by 200 families who have decided to replace individual interest with collective effort, they have made their land available to the winery and deliver their harvest every year to produce and market quality wines with their own brand.
We have 450 hectares of our own vineyards, distributed in more than 1,000 plots, divided into 3 zones between 450 and 590 meters above sea level, in which we have identified 22 different types of soil. What emerged as a warehouse for bulk carriers, is today a warehouse that receives 3 million kg. every year to produce more than 15 references under 4 different brands.
Entrepreneurial mentality, always curious and open to new ideas and projects to evolve. Attentive to trends and changes in consumer markets, with a wide portfolio of wines of different styles and an increasingly specialized sales network. We already have presence in 34 countries around the world, with the recent incorporation of Kenya, and we export 55% of our production.

These are not just a new simple qualifications, but they represent for ZINIO Bodegas the recognition of the work carried out by the 200 families that make up this cooperative and who made their land available to the winery 36 years ago. Thus, we continue adding positive results that encourage us to continue working on our wines under the firm commitment to sustainability from a social, economic and environmental aspect.
