Rioja, a destination that continues to grow

Our homeland, the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin (DOCa), continues to lead the way in wine tourism. In 2024, Rioja wineries recorded 912,438 visits, representing a 3.54% increase compared to the previous year.

In addition, the economic impact reached around 197 million euros, confirming that these kinds of experiences are increasingly valued.

International demand is also soaring: nearly 36.3% of visitors come from abroad, welcoming travelers from all over the world.
