This year, Zinio Bodegas made a remarkable impression at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2025, reaffirming the quality and prestige of its wines. A blend of tradition, innovation, and authenticity has earned our wines major awards and high scores.

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is one of the most influential international wine competitions, and in its 2025 edition, Zinio Bodegas once again demonstrated its excellence in crafting wines that embody the soul of Rioja.

Zinio Street Art Collection Tempranillo Blanco 2023 – Silver Medal

The Zinio Street Art Collection Tempranillo Blanco 2023 was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2025 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, standing out as one of the most unique offerings from our winery.

The grapes were destemmed and underwent cold maceration for 6 hours. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine rested on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and barrels of various woods—mainly French oak, along with American oak and acacia—during its 8-month aging process. This careful approach preserved the base wine’s elegance while adding fullness and structure on the palate.

It displays a bright, clean golden-yellow color. The barrel aging brings complexity with aromas of white flowers, citrus notes, and a blend of fresh fruits like pear, golden apple, and ripe pineapple. French oak and acacia wood lend a subtle toasted and spiced nuance, with hints of brioche, vanilla, and a touch of honey.

Its fresh acidity is perfectly balanced with a smooth texture, delivering a creamy sensation and a long, elegant finish. The blend of ripe fruits and delicate oak lingers beautifully on the palate.

This white wine shows that at Zinio Bodegas, innovation goes hand in hand with complexity and elegance. Its character and production process make it a benchmark for aged white wines from Rioja.

Sancho Garcés Crianza 2022 – Silver Medal

Our classic Sancho Garcés Crianza 2022 was also awarded a Silver Medal. This red wine is a true expression of Rioja style, with oak barrel aging, silky tannins, and excellent structure. Its balance of fruit and wood makes it a solid choice for any lover of Spanish wine.
