From ancient times to not so distant past, women were quite distanced from both the wine process and its consumption. Thanks to the great pioneers such as Madame Clicquot or Madame Pommery, among many others, women were gradually carving a place in the wine industry.

Today, fortunately, this has changed, with women standing out in countless professions related to the wine sector. It is no longer unusual to find women producing wine in wineries, viticulturists taking care and pampering vines, sommeliers recommending wines in our restaurants or specialized stores, and many more.

At ZINIO Bodegas we are proud to say that 80% of our staff is made up of women. Not surprisingly, our committee consists of five women and two men.
