María Martínez
I was born in Madrid, but I was raised and studied in Seville. I have Riojan roots and I feel very close to this land, Rioja.
I have a degree in Pharmacy from the Universidad de Sevilla (University of Seville), a Master’s degree in Oenology and Viticulture from Universidad de la Rioja (University of Rioja).
My passion for wines and grapes led me to start working in a winery in Rioja. I first learned the origin of the wine, its vineyards, its grapes and its soils… I gained experience in the greatest effort and work moments, the ‘HARVESTS.’
In 2004, I fell in love with a new young and dynamic project: ZINIO Bodegas. Here I found a family with a big dream, in which its efforts and dedication are reflected on every year, every harvest and every wine.
